European streaming service Viaplay exclusively premieres the U.S. & U.K. debuts of Home in You (Halva Halva) on Thursday, July 30 and Monday, July 20, a poignant and deeply human family drama that examines immigration, cultural identity and displacement with equal measures of warmth, humor and emotional honesty.

Created by, co-written, co-directed and co-starring award-winning actor Alexander Abdallah (Paradis City, Thunder in My Heart, Snabba Cash) alongside Isa Aouifia (Taelgia, Ronja, the Robber's Daughter), the six-episode series follows the Lebanese-Swedish Haddad family as they face an unexpected housing crisis when the apartment building they've long called home is slated for renovation. Forced to leave their Stockholm neighborhood as gentrification reshapes the community around them, each member of the family confronts a different question of belonging.

As the parents struggle to understand their children who have grown up between two cultures, and the younger generation wrestles with identity, adolescence and conflicting expectations, Home in You explores the emotional complexities of family life with authenticity, empathy and wit. The search for a new apartment becomes a larger search for connection - to one another, to community and to the idea of home itself.

Drawing from the lived experiences of its creators, Home in You offers a fresh perspective on contemporary Europe, tackling timely issues of immigration, assimilation and housing insecurity without losing sight of the humor, resilience and everyday moments that define family life.
