Nominated for ‘Best Youth Drama’ by the Swedish equivalent to the Emmys, the raw, character-driven and hugely popular drama series Threesome returns with Season 2 making its North American debut on Tuesday, August 27 on the Viaplay streaming service. The honest, provocative series sees London-based, high school sweethearts contend with love, lust, loneliness, and regret after a passionate threesome alters their relationship. Created by Lisa Linnertorp (The Bridge, Sthlm Requiem), Season 1 of the boundary pushing drama followed the aftermath of Siri (Matilda Källström, Love & Anarchy) and David (Simon Lööf, Börje) sharing a passionate night with French art student Camille. Season two kicks off right after the dramatic finale of the first season. David discovers Siri's infidelity with John (Lucien Laviscount, Emily in Paris) and, after confronting her, moves in with his friend Mario (Kit Johansson Walker, Toppen). Soon David meets Joanna and they develop a connection. As David grapples with his feelings for Siri and Joanna, it culminates in a conversation with Siri about whether he wants to start fresh with her or move on with Joanna.

Actress Matilda Källström notes the series offers “a very raw and honest story about feeling lost and the journey of trying to find yourself again.”
