The Street Where I Live (På gatan där jag bor) – Heartwarming family drama

Thursday, April 3 – Exclusive US Premiere

Interview Opps: Cast/Writer

Trailer

The heartwarming six-part drama series is a story of love, neighborhood and unexpected intrigue. In the wake of tragedy, Nina finds solace and purpose as the cherished pillar of her tight-knit community, navigating the complexities of single parenthood and trying to move on. Nina is played by one of Sweden’s most successful musical artists Lena Philipsson, whose hit Swedish song of the same name on grief, love, and relationships inspired the series. Additionally, Lena was recently announced as the new lead singer of Roxette for their 2025 tour.

Nina is single and lives with her two teenage children on an idyllic residential street. When her husband Erik passed away four years earlier, her neighbors were her greatest support, when the grief was at its heaviest. Nina quickly became the neighbor that everyone wanted to help, and it lasted through the years. At the same time, Nina had been struggling to let go and move on in life. But now, she has met Richard (Ilkka Villi) and dares to let her feelings out again. However, it turns out that her new love affair affects the entire street where she lives.

*Best Polish Film Award and Amnesty International Poland Award nominees

Trailer

As the Polish government introduces an abortion ban, four women from Abortion Dream Team defy the system to aid those in need. The situation escalates and the four friends find themselves carrying a huge responsibility and risk on their shoulders. Will they continue their mission? What price will they pay for that?

In Poland, the abortion ban protects a fetus over a woman’s life. Luckily, there is “Abortion Dream Team”, four bold women running a hotline to support their sisters in need. Working around the clock, they brag on TikTok about facilitating 100 abortions a day and shock people with the slogan "Abortion is OK!”. They gather a huge following empowering hundreds of thousands of women, while angering all conservatives and the government. This dangerous battle leads to a complete burnout of one team member and to the political prosecution of another, threatening her with years in prison. As the women reach their breaking point, will the mission and sisterhood of Abortion Dream Team survive?

With Norway newly in the global spotlight following its first Academy Award win for Sentimental Value, attention is turning to the country’s broader storytelling boom—particularly in television, where in the last few years, Norwegian creators have been quietly producing some of Europe’s most compelling and distinctive series.   Nordic-focused streamer Viaplay offers a slate of standout Norwegian titles that showcase the country’s range and ambition. Trailer Stayer –  ‘Best New Shows’ Selection…“Outstanding Cast” (Time Magazine) and “Beautiful, deep, intense, and fabulous hour drama” (ABC22) | Led by Aksel Hennie (The Martian, Sisu) – who also directs – this high-end drama follows an aging rock musician forced to rebuild his life—and rediscover purpose in music and fatherhood—after a personal tragedy. Trailer The Architect – “Vicious and funny” (The New York Times) | Starring Eili Harboe (Succession’s final season), this innovative, short-form dramedy is a smart, satirical take on ambition and survival in a broken housing market—blending bleak humor with incisive social commentary. Trailer Furia, Seasons 1 & 2 – “Jaw-clenchingly suspenseful… gripping and unpredictable.” (Foreign Crime Drama) | A high-stakes political thriller exploring the rise of extremism in Europe, combining intimate character drama with urgent geopolitical tension. Trailer Fenris - “Thoroughly engrossing” (The Wall Street Journal) and “A rarely explored world… an exceptional series.” (MovieWeb) | Directed by Simen Alsvik (Lilyhammer), this tense, atmospheric mystery unfolds in a remote forest community, where disappearances may be tied to both human secrets and wolves in the wild. Trailer Liv Ullmann: A Road Less Traveled – “Pure pleasure” (The Wall Street Journal) | A Cannes-selected docuseries on Liv Ullmann, featuring interviews with Cate Blanchett, Jessica Chastain, and John Lithgow—offering an intimate, star-studded portrait of one of the greatest European actresses of all-time and a window into Norway’s rich artistic legacy. Trailer Together, these series exemplify how Norway is operating at a world-class level—expanding beyond traditional Nordic noir into bold, globally resonant storytelling.
