Seasons – Dramedy Feature Film
Exclusive U.S. Premiere
Thursday, February 5
Hit with Polish press – “One of the most engaging and intelligent Polish films in years,” “Masterfully crafted,” and “Fresh, fearless, emotional…phenomenal lead performances”
Winner of the Audience Award at the Sopot Film Festival 2025. Take your seat for Seasons (Sezony) an entertaining new comedy drama about love, ego and the slow, painful art of letting go. Set in the theatre, it follows the challenges between two lead actors whose marriage is falling apart in real-life, but the drama starts to seep on to the stage, as well as behind the curtain.
Marcin (award-winning actor Lukasz Simlat – Corpus Christi) is an egocentric stage actor whose carefully curated world starts to unravel when he learns of his wife Ola’s affair (Agnieszka Duleba-Kasza – Glitter). The pain is further exacerbated when Marcin learns Ola’s lover is a close friend who is also starring in their current play. The actors must try and remain professional as their personal lives crumble around them, but that’s easier said than done.
Unfolding over three separate shows - Peter Pan, A Doll’s House and A Midsummer Night’s Dream - Marcin and Ola must perform night after night with their personal turmoil spilling into their work, transforming rehearsals, performances and backstage moments into charged satirical battlegrounds.
(Dramedy Film, 94 mins, Polish with English subtitles)
SPOTLIGHT: DRAMA
Scenes After a Marriage – An intimate, short-form relationship drama
Thursdays, February 5, 12 and 19 (two episodes weekly)
A strikingly intimate Swedish short-form drama series capturing the heartbreak, humor, and unpredictability of relationships, in the vein of the Emmy-winning State of the Union. Told across eight tightly constructed 18-minute episodes, the series strips relationships down to their core, creating an emotionally charged, modern chamber play. With just one location, two deeply complex characters, and dialogue that oscillates between sharp humor and raw emotion, it captures the universal struggles of love, loss, and the uncertainty of divorce.
Written by Veronica Zacco (The Bridge, Top Dog), the series features tour-de-force performances from Ardalan Esmaili (Lockerbie opposite Colin Firth, The Helicopter Heist) and Eva Röse (Maria Wern, Honour). The result is a deeply immersive, actor-driven experience that invites comparison to Scandinavia’s tradition of psychological realism.
(Drama/Romance, 8 x 17-19 mins episodes, Swedish with English subtitles)

American Runestone, Season 2 - Peter Stormare’s historical docuseries
*English language
The English-language docuseries follows the journey of Fargo and Prison Break actor Peter Stormare and history enthusiast Elroy Balgaard as they set out to solve the mystery surrounding the Kensington Runestone – an artifact that, if proven authentic, will rewrite the history of North America. Season 2 opens with Peter and Elroy successfully getting the go-ahead from the State of Minnesota to start excavation with the archaeological team at Runestone Hill where the runestone was found in 1898. Concurrent with the excavation starting, and through a succession of new research and interviews, they dig deeper in some of the extreme accusations and evidence that academics have presented against the runestone’s discoverer, Olof Ohman. The excavations climax with the discovery of charcoal, which can now be carbon-dated and tested. The runestone world widens further as Peter and Elroy travel to three states on the East Coast (Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island) to investigate where the Vikings would have traded on the coast of Maine, utilizing seacraft to find the exact location.
