Verstappen has made a huge impact in racing, becoming the youngest winner in Formula One history at the age of 18. He won three World Drivers' Championship titles between 2021 and 2023 with Red Bull and holds multiple world records, including the youngest leader in an F1 Grand Prix and the most wins in an F1 season. Lewis Hamilton praised him and his team for having ‘raised the bar’ and now, you can experience his phenomenal career and rise to fame in a slew of brilliant documentaries set to zoom onto Viaplay this October.

Max Verstappen: Off the Beaten Track takes us behind the scenes with the Belgian-Dutch racing superstar, offering unprecedented access to his extraordinary life on and off the track. Directed by Nick Hoedeman, the series gets its UK premiere on Viaplay on 14 October.

Over three 30-minute episodes, this thrilling documentary explores Verstappen’s off-track passions, from team ownership to sim racing and business ventures. We get an inside look at his involvement with Verstappen.com Racing, his role as a mentor and test driver in the DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) series and his dedication to sim racing with 'Team Redline,' all while navigating his business pursuits under the guidance of his manager, Raymond Vermeulen.

Can you keep Secrets? In this thrilling new Danish drama, some just can’t stay hidden. From award-winning director Kaspar Munk (Ride Upon the Storm, You & Me Forever) and featuring a standout cast led by Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones, Uncharted, Aquaman, The Lost Kingdom), Iben Hjejle (Defiance, High Fidelity), and Evin Ahmad (Who Is Erin Carter?, Snabba Cash), this enthralling eight-part drama will be available for the first time in the UK exclusively on Viaplay from 21 October.  

Siblings Mads (Pilou Asbæk) and Eva (Iben Hjejle)) live in Copenhagen in neighbouring apartments. They appear, on the surface, to come from a picture-perfect family, but in reality, it’s deeply dysfunctional. Mads, a music teacher, escapes his mundane life and family duties through wild parties and drugs. But his secret life of excess and addiction is spiralling out of control, threatening to shatter the façade he's desperately trying to maintain...

Meanwhile, Eva's architecture firm is on the brink of disaster, after a vital contract falls through due to the sudden death of her contact – who also happened to be her lover. Desperate to keep things from falling apart, she must do all that she can to save her company and her marriage.

As Mads plunges deeper into chaos, Eva’s life begins to unravel too. She has always protected her brother, but now she must decide how far she’ll go to save him – or if she even can. Will they be able to break free from their past and rebuild their futures?

Under the Radar: Secrets of a Swedish Serial Killer Season 1 – New true crime docuseries

Under the Radar: Secrets of a Swedish Serial Killer is a brilliant new true crime series that follows documentary director and investigative journalist John Mork as he embarks on an unsettling investigation into unsolved murders after receiving a sheet of music from a notorious serial killer. The gripping three-part documentary series makes its UK debut on 7 October on Viaplay.

When John Mork receives a cryptic sheet of music from a prison psychologist titled "Under the Radar," written by the infamous Swedish serial killer Peter Mangs, who is serving a life sentence for two murders and eight attempted murders, his interest is piqued. The piece allegedly confesses to a double homicide in Florida and along with it Mangs claims that “If you can solve the codes, you can understand how the murders went down and where the bodies are buried”.

In a quest for justice Mork enlists investigators, including brilliant lead investigator Jim Rathmann (Available for interviews), a former secret service operative turned homicide detective who also led the investigation on Joe Exotic: Tigers, Lies and Cover-ups. He also enlists the help of musicians and graphologists to decode the song and investigate unsolved murders linked to Mangs' time in Florida.

Discover Norwegian Crime Stories in the fifth outing of this enthralling documentary series that covers some of Norway's most famous crimes. With eight brand new cases and episodes, Norwegian Crime Cases Season 5 will be available to binge on Viaplay from 28 October – perfect for true crime fans craving curious cases.

Each episode zeroes in on a single case, unravelling how it was solved and sharing the stories of those closest to the crimes. Cases range from the infamous Orderud Case – where Per and Veronica Orderud were sentenced to 21 years for the brutal murders of Per's parents and sister – to the devastating 2008 Oslo fire, the worst since World War II and suspected arson and the mysterious 2017 disappearance of Tom Rune Hagen, who vanished after a party under suspicious circumstances.
